“When the body traverses space, space also traverses the body.”
The artist views performance as a form and process of bodily return. She emphasizes the cultivation of perceptual awareness to establish a dialogue between the individual and their own being, fostering connections and responses to the external world, thereby creating a distinct field.
Through rhythmic bodily movements and shifts, she seeks to divide andperceive space,“painting” it in visual compositions through physical gestures. She considers the body both as a sensor that transmits movement and as a feedback mechanism for the present moment; this practice continually dissolves
inertia, bringing us back to instinctive perception. Natural materials such as earth, plants, and sound serve both as extensions of her performative medium and as tools for exploring states of being and energy fields. In the performance piece Earth, the artist shares space with the earth, continually blurring boundaries
through bodily movement until returning to the primordial state of life, similar to a seed buried underground. In the spatial installation Echoes of Roots, plants and sounds merge to form a fluid perceptual field, resonating with the body, others, and
nature.
