Poetry of Nature 自然之诗
2025 performance, installation
materials: bamboo cane, cotton cord, wind, rain
This project stems from the artist's creative practice during a residency in Irsina, in southern Italy.
Made from lightweight bamboo, it forms a series of interactive installations similar to wind chimes. Their
interactivity derives from the fluid symbiotic relationship between humans and the natural environment:
when wind, rain, breath, and human movement converge, the installations sway
gently and their bamboo joints clink, producing a clear, resonant sound.
This sound and swaying exist between melody and verse, blurring the boundaries between natural matter
and human creation. They are not mere physical vibrations, but become a fluid context,
slowly revealing itself through sound and oscillation. They invite the viewer to listen to the
whispered interplay between nature and body, touching on those ineffable, tranquil, and
poetic existences within the dynamic pauses.
